Missions
Based on Acts 1:8, we are a church on mission with God here, there, and everywhere. Service opportunities permeate every ministry sphere of BSBC. We engage in long-term national and international partnerships aimed at planting churches in places where there is greatest need. As a platform for sharing the hope of the Gospel message, we gladly engage in human needs ministry and community development.
Here, There, Everywhere
Through a designated Missions Fund, we often provide supplements for BSBC members to participate on mission trips, and also offer substantial long-term support to our various partners on the field.
Here
Bartlesville Community Outreach
There is opportunity for every member to reach into the community in partnership with ministries like Hope Clinic, which provides free medical care and spiritual counsel every week to anyone in need, and My Refuge, a weekly ministry to at-risk children. Each year BSBC also seeks to bless our community through hosting Vacation Bible School, and serving in the children’s section of the annual Bartlesville SunFest weekend festival.
There
Disaster Relief
We understand the immense amount of need following disaster. BSBC not only offers relief through our repair/recovery mobile workshop, chainsaw trailer, and feeding unit, but also supports communities spiritually in hard times.
Colorado Springs
Volunteers regularly serve Ponderosa Christian Camp, near Colorado Springs, through construction and renovation projects.
Everywhere
Mexico, Zimbabwe, India, Brazil, and Moldova
On a BSBC international trip, working with our national and international partners, preconceived notions of what “church” looks like will be challenged. Whether under a tree in Zimbabwe, an Indian storefront, or a home in Mexico, BSBC’s international partnerships guarantee to provide a New Testament perspective on what constitutes church.
Our members volunteer locally at Voice of the Martyrs, supporting the persecuted church worldwide by helping increase awareness among western believers of the plight of their brothers and sisters.
